After more than 50 years of active trial practice in the criminal and family courts, Jim is transitioning his practice to mediation exclusively for family court disputes. During his career he has successfully tried and negotiated and settled hundreds of family court cases involving custody, visitation, property settlement, child and spousal support. He brings this experience to mediation to help resolve complicated and contested issues and to help the parties craft realistic and straight forward solutions
He is a member of the Vermont and Federal Court bars. Honored by inclusion in the American College of Trial Lawyers and consistently recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in the field of family law.
